Team Uniform Designs

​

To initiate uniform orders. Each team will be required to go through our uniform design process by emailing us at admin@derbylab.co.uk or filling out this form.

​

Team Uniform Design Levels

​​

  • Level 1 design works with your existing logo and design to replicate an existing uniform. The cost for this package is £100 if colours are from our premade colour chart. If full colour matching is required there is an additional £100 charge. We require editable and layered artwork files with a minimum resolution of 300dpi, if colour matching is required we will need a current team uniform posted to us. We also require you to confirm that you own the uniform design being recreated.

  • Level 2 design works with your existing logo to create a new uniform design. This package costs £600 and includes colour matching.

  • Level 3 design includes a full uniform design including logo and costs £1200.

  • If you have other ideas and considerations just let us know and we can discuss price changes based upon these.

Please note that we have designed our uniform patterns with the aim of providing durability and a good fit and therefore it is unlikely that uniforms that we make will be an exact replica of ones that you may already be using. Most notable are our side panels which increase the fit of uniforms but are not currently seen on the market. We will therefore strive to get the best match possible but this cannot be guaranteed. We have black and white thread in stock, but if coloured thread is required an initial £30 surcharge will be included in the design fee.

Once the design process is initiated, teams will receive a digital proof of the custom roller derby uniform design for approval (within 14 days). It is the customer's responsibility to carefully review and confirm all design elements, including colours and logos, before production can begin.

Once a uniform design has been approved, artwork will be provided and remains the property of the league. However, Derby Lab reserves the right to use images of the design for promotional purposes.

 

Initially, we will only be taking team orders of greater than £200. Once an initial team order is fulfilled, individual orders based upon previously approved uniforms will be accepted through our website.  Our tops will be £45 each. You are free to mix and match styles and fits too in the initial team order.

We realise that these charges may seem unnecessary and other providers may include the cost of design in the uniforms they produce. However, we feel that this should be a one time fee. This way the cost for the individual skater is minimised and we are in effect rewarding loyalty as we will never charge for a redesign unless a team requests it. We are currently also working on uniform leggings/short patterns and any design package bought now comes with a voucher for legging/shorts design (We didnt want to delay tops any longer as we are keen to provide tops for those teams that need them for the start of the 2024 season where possible).

For All Custom Orders

​

Full payment is required at the time of order placement. We accept payments via credit/debit card and Paypal. All transactions are secure, and customer information is treated with the utmost confidentiality. Production of custom orders will commence upon payment including printing and assembly. Changes to custom orders, such as design modifications or sizing adjustments, can only be accommodated if production has not yet started. Therefore, changes may not be possible. Order cancellations are not accepted once production has been initiated. Customers are encouraged to review the information provided before submitting their order.

Customers will receive an order confirmation email once the payment is processed. Fulfillment of orders are expected within 4-6 weeks after team order placement.

We are committed to customer satisfaction and it is our responsibility to supply you with goods that meet your consumer rights. Shipping Policy

​

Shipping costs and delivery times are calculated at checkout based on the destination and selected shipping method. Please note that delivery times are estimated, and actual delivery may vary. Tracking information will be provided upon dispatch. Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. We cannot be held responsible for delays or non-delivery due to incorrect addresses. In the rare event of shipping delays due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather, carrier issues, or other external factors, we will do our best to communicate updates promptly.

We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages after they have been marked as delivered by the carrier. Customers should contact the carrier directly to resolve any delivery issues. If a custom roller derby uniform arrives damaged, customers must contact us within 14 days of receiving the order. Please provide clear photos of the damaged item and packaging for our review.

Returns Policy

​

Returns are accepted within 28 days of receipt for non-customised components (e.g., blank apparel), if there is a manufacturing defect in the custom printing or an incorrect order is received. Returns for sizing issues due to customer error in measurements or ordering errors are not possible.

To initiate a return, please contact our customer service at admin@derbylab.co.uk with your order number, details of the issue, and any supporting photos. Our team will provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) number and instructions on how to proceed. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a manufacturing defect or an error on our part. We recommend using a trackable shipping service for returns, and the RA number must be clearly marked on the package.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed to the original method of payment within 14 business days.
